Membership of the Council for 2 years commencing May 2024.

 

The Annual General Meeting of the Council will take place on Monday 20th May 2024. There are four vacancies to be filled.

Any member of the community within the UTCC area who is registered on the electoral roll is eligible to stand for election. Nomination Forms with instructions for completion are available in the Broughton Village Store, on the Upper Tweed Community Council website and the Facebook page. Completed forms should be returned to the Shop in an envelope marked for my attention or returned to me by post or email by noon on Friday 10th May. In order to simplify matters the signature of the Proposer and Seconder is not required on the form this year but their agreement must be communicated to me by post, phone or email.

The Candidate must sign Page 2 of the Nomination Form. 

The names of the successful candidates will be announced at the AGM on Monday 20th May. If there are more candidates than vacancies an election may be held at a later date.
